getting the second job is what i plan to do already.
that really is the only thing keeping me from this process..
but other than that i feel i have the potential to be OUTSTANDING in my life goals with emanicpation.

No thats not the only thing its just the simple one to focus on. Read the statute. By the way in georgia (used as exmaple) in 2005 had over 10,000 peitions for emancipation about 12 were granted! Now that can used as model for success it isnt easy and isnt suppose to be. Google the statute.

well from allthe other people i have discussed this with they agree that i will do fine on emancipation and will even write recommendations me counslers and pyscologists so i think that i will proceed with emanicpation..
and if that is not an option then i need to find a way that a family friend or relative can ask the court for custdy of me...

i have had people read it to me.
i have had couslers read it to me and explain.
and i have had people from court programs read me it.

Nikki, when you can go to the judge and say, this is what I HAVE done, not, this is what I am GOING TO do, you will be in a position to ask for emancipation.

Not, I'm going to apply for an internship that comes with an apartment, but I have been granted an internship that comes with an apartment.

Not, I'm going to apply for a scholarship, but I've been granted a scholarship.

You will not be granted emancipation on maybes. The judge is not going to emancipate you on the basis of things that may not happen. What if you can't find a second job right away? What if you are turned down for the internship? What if you don't get the scholarship? What if your grades go down when you're working two jobs? When you have these things already in place, then you can apply for emancipation. It will NOT be granted based on,
"well, I'm going to..." but on "I have".
