My Mother Will Give Guardianship To My Aunt, But How?
im 17 years old and i live in orlando, fl with my mother and father but want to move to chicago (where i was raised from birth - 12 yrs old) with my aunt/godmother so i can attend school over there & graduate with my friends. also i wanna move because i have problems out here with people my age and my parents are going through a divorce.
how do i get my aunt to be my legal guardian so i can attend school up north? do i have to go to court? and if i do go to court, would it be in illinois or florida? say i have to go to court in illinois, does my mom have to appear in court and if its da vice versa does my aunt have to appear in court in florida?
Is there anyway i can avoid court and just give my aunt guardianship? it'll only be temporary because ill be 18 in 6 months.

If the concern is school enrollment, have your aunt check with the school district to see if they will accept an informal grant of guardianship from your mother to her (one that doesn't go through the courts), or if they require a court-ordered guardianship.
