Loitering in a Park After Close
I recently recievied a ticket for loitering in a park after close in detroit. There were no signs in or around the park stating a time of opening or closeing. I have to appear in court. What kind of charges will I face and what type of plea bargain can I expect?

    Loitering in a Park
This is a misdemeanor appearance ticket, under a Detroit ordinance? If so, the ordinance would set forth the possible penalties - probably up to 90 days in jail and a fine of up to $500, or some lesser penalty as set forth therein. I can only guess.

A local lawyer should be able to tell you how this type of ticket is usually resolved - you may be able to get it dismissed on payment of a fine and, if there were in fact no postings or notices, you may have a viable defense for trial (should you wish to contest the ticket).

loitering, how did you make out?
webjet, I'm facing similar charges of loitering and a court appearance this Tuesday. How did you make out with your court date? How did you approach the judge? There were no signs posted as well.
