Re: Shoplifting in Florida
Its very doubtful they knew about that or they would have mentioned it at time of arrest you should be in the clear on that.
Re: Shoplifting in Florida
as long as you don't tell them about it then they should have no idea if they did not ask or press charges already about those items. But Just FYI.. HOW STUPID to do that for a few bucks of soda and candy. hope it was worth it.
Re: Shoplifting in Florida
after someone is caught shopliftng-does the store security ever look through thru their old camera film (say 1 month ago)to see if they could find the shoplifter in it?
Re: Shoplifting in Florida
it might be dumb but i just sent $30 to the retailer where i took pepsi and candy bar.i put it in a plain envelope.$30 is way more than the cost of pepsi and candy bar,but i needed to do this cause I feel like dirt.person openng the envelope will be confused to find 3 $10 bills, but that is ok. i need to clear my mind and pay for what i drank.

If store LP have reason to believe there may find more theft then yes but if dollar amount is low that too is unlikely
Re: Shoplifting in Florida
If a credit card or discount card or something like that was used after shoplifting can't they track that information and then look at the footage from before the customer checked out at the register if they have reason to believe they shoplifted before going through the register?
Re: Shoplifting in Florida
First off they have to have reason to believe there was more theft. If they thought that they would have pressed for tha tinfo at time of arrest. Its very unlikley they will spend hours going through old video.
