    What Will Happen After Being Caught Shoplifting
    I was caught shoplifting a while ago and the cops were not called and the lady said i would get some fine in the mail, which i havnt got and its been a little over a month. im applying to job and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if the job im applying for can find about this even if the cops were not called and i have yet to get any info in the mail. can someone answer that question....

    No ne can predict when you will get civil Demand letter. If cops were not called then charges were not filed so you can safely say you have no comitted no crimes

    no no my question was will the job im applying for be able to find out about me getting caught shoplifting even tho the police were not called and i didnt get any thing for the store in the mail?

    Its possible but no one can say for sure. Your name "could" have been placed in a database that some companies (mostly retailers) can view

    do most companies do a criminal backgruond check for hiring people at the entry level.....or is that something that they do for managers?

    Depends on the company again no one can say who or how many run background checks or access databses like one I mentioned

    most companies do a background check to some degree on ALL assoicates because they want to protect themselves from thiefs. SO it is very likely this could bite you in the butt on a few jobs being turned down.
