Emancipation in Oregon

I live in Oregon, I'm 17, AND i've graduated from high school.
I live with my parents at the moment, i just graduated this month and i'm planning on going to college to become a registered nurse.
The college that i want to go to is in California though.
The out of state tuition there is no different then the in-state tuition at the school my mother wants me to go here in Oregon.
My boyfriend lives right next to the college in California, and his parent will let me live there, pay for my flight down, give me food and shelter and provide everything for me if i go to school there, however my mother refuses to let me to go school there.

I was wondering if emancipation would be a good choice for me?

To make it more confusing however is that my mother has saved up money for me to go to college (almost enough to pay for all 4 years) however she said i can not get any of it if i go to college in California, and i will need that money because i have none saved up on my own.

Emancipation does not mean that you live with your boyfriend's parents and are supported by them.

Emancipation means that you support yourself.

You're extremely lucky to have the funds to go to college...any college....waiting for you. Take advantage of it and go to school in Orgeon and visit your boyfriend, or have him visit you, during breaks. As cbg said, emancipation means you support yourself 100%. Good luck.
