Help With Emancipation In Washington State
I'm only 15 but I'll be turning 16 next month in June. My parents just recently got divorced in February. I'm living with my mother right now. I've looked all over for information on Emancipation in the State of Washington, but nothing is detailed enough for me. So I was hoping there are people out there that know how to get good information or already know information about it.

I know it would be soo easy for me to get emancipated, except for this one thing. I think I might be pregnant. But my mom's boyfriend has been in prison 3 times and has ruined 8 families in his past. My mother thinks he's changed...but I'm not too sure, he gets out in July and I really need information BEFORE then, so hopefully as soon as possible please!!! And thank you for all those who can or will help!!

I already babysit 3 children and get about 300 a month. My boyfriends been looking for a job even before this happened. And I'm going to apply for low income apartments. My dad used to live in some that were really big and since his income was so low he only had to pay $175. And then I'll probably apply for food stamps and welfare, cuz my 16 year old friend had a baby 2 years ago and has been accepted for all those things. So that would be a help. And plus I trust my boyfriends mom and I know she would help. After I learn more information I'll probably be more definate and stronger on my plans of supporting us. So it'd be a really big help if I could find some information. THANK YOU!

$300.00 a month is not enough to be self supporting. No judge will grant your petition with such a low income
