Threatened by a Stalker With Criminal Charges for a Past Act

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Colorado
I have a stalker who is threatening me, he knows a year ago I was soliciting prostitution so I can't go to the police or else he'll turn me in. What is the satute of limitations for prostitution? Also he has screenshots of the text messages of me soliciting it but if he can't prove when it took place can it be used? And I was a minor at the time.

Go to the police, especially if you believe he is dangerous. If it's been a year and you haven't been soliciting/using prostitutes, they aren't going to care.

How do you know they won't care?

Because I've worked with a lot of different agencies and know people with even more, some kid trying to get a hooker a year ago is really not going to be a concern to them. Granted I'm not in Colorado but police officers are more or less the same everywhere. Technically you may still be within the statute of limitations for a solicitation charge but I wouldn't sweat it. Don't bring it up.

There is also the issue of evidence. Some random person saying you solicited prostitution isn't very good evidence. And one you just reported for a crime against you will carry even less weight.

That would have been good information to include but again, if you are out of the life they aren't going to care about your acts. Although they may be interested in whoever was managing you since you were a minor at the time and they may still be using minors.

I stand by my reply as well. Prostitutes report crimes that happened while they were working all the time (think assault) and rarely are charged with anything when they do. If you are now out of the life and especially if yo were a minor at the time your chances of being charged based on reporting his actions are effectively zero.

WHAT is he threatening you with? Exposure? Bodily harm? Is he extorting you?

He is threatening to go to the cops, and threatening to send my nudes out to my parents and my work.
