Violation Of Probation For A Felony Drug Charge
    Hi,
on April 25, 2005 i was convicted of possession of a
controlled substance less than a gram in Bexar County Texas. i was
sentenced to 3 years of probation, 120 hours of community
service, rehab classes, and all sorts of fines. now, 2 years
later i have had my probation transferred to indiana so i
can be close to my family. recently i was arrested for minor
in consumption of alcohol, a class c misdemeanor. i have not
yet been formally charged, but i still violated my
probation. this was the first time i have done that. my
probation officer here in indiana says that he has to rely
on what texas says to further punish me. i know i can be
looking at 3 years jail time because of the 3 years
probation sentence. is this going to happen? what else can
happen? i have finished my community service, paid all my
fines, and completed the necessary rehab courses, and i have
a little under a year left on the orignal probation
sentence. any help would me appreciated greatly

Re: violation of probation on d felony drug charge
Q: is this going to happen?

A: While none of us can predict the future, the possibility of jail is very real.
