Can the Cops Break Down a Door if They Have a Warrant
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Arizona

My bf has court the 27th of July for shop lifting. Well he's not going. When they come pick him up can the landlord let the cops in if the warrant is showed to the landlord?

I guarantee him or his mom wont answer the door. What can she be charged with?

I'm not going to be home when the cops come as I know they won't answer the door.

What happens if she says he moved back to Minnesota? Can they still search the place to see if he's still their?

If the police have reason top believe he is there they can make entry even without permission - up to and including kicking in the door.

People who lie to protect him can be charged with criminal offenses as well. Not answering the door may not be a criminal offense, but providing false or misleading info to the cops can be.

Is he really so foolish and narcissistic to think that the warrant will go away if he ignores the court? And, that his family will all risk going to jail just so that he can avoid a situation of his own making?

    Your boyfriend is an ass.

When he does get caught, and he will, things will be so much worse for him.

Yes. Absolutely. I'd let them in if it was my rental. Then I'd evict the whole fam damlly for it.

Obstruction, harboring a fugitive, probably others that I haven't thought of.

Then you'd better just move out and stay away permanently because the cops aren't going to call ahead to make an appointment.

Could bring her crimes from misdemeanors to felony level.

If they have probable cause to believe he's there then, yes.
