Will a Store Call the Police After Catching a Customer Stealing Beer
I was with my friend and he was stealing beer and I was walking with him while he put it in a book bag and the worker came up and said “some guy said they saw both of you stealing beer” I personally didn’t touch any. Anyways the worker at the dollar general said to take the beer out the bag and we’re free to go. Now they watched us leave the store and I personally never touched the beer. We’re both minors. Do you think they will call the police? We cooperated and were polite. I personally don’t think they will.

If they were going to call the police they would have while you were there.

    Caught Shoplifting
I went to the dollar general. My friend was putting beer in his bag and he had like 2 six packs in the bag and someone saw us. I was walking with him, and someone reported us to the worker and after the worker confronted us he said take the beer out the bag and you’re free to go. I was with him. Does anyone think the police have been contacted? And would the police honestly pursue something as little as this?

But we’re both minors for one, the main thing I’m worried about is that they’re gonna call the police later on

There is no possible way for us to know if they will call the police later on. You'll just have to wait it out.
