I was wondering if i could file a petition and go to court and/or get all the paper work out of the way before im 16.(im only 15)
and come my 16th b-day actually go to court.
Also how am i able to get out the house if i need to be emancipated
to get out.Its a requirement to be living without your parents, but im getting emancipated to do that., how can i do it before?
In Texas you must already be living apart from your parents to petition for emancipation at age 16. If you don't live separately, the earliest you may petition is at age 17. You must also be able to support yourself.
ok well can i move out at 15 and get a job..i just dont understand how im suppose to me living apart from my parents if im trying to get emancipated to do that exact thing.can i just move myself out and say im doing self-eamancipation and she not be able to do anything..
If you run away from home, they can notify the police and have you brought back home.
oh well how am i suppose to get out the house for emancipation>?
With your parent's permission. If you don't have that, you're not going to be emancipated anyway.
