Can You Sue Over False Statements Made by Police Officers in an Affidavit
My question involves civil rights in the State of: Florida.

There is a sworn affidavit that I was accused of stealing over $6k form my old business I worked at for 7 years & was wrongfully terminated & from with Discrimination & Harassment etc. lawsuits they are vengefully & maliciously after me. They also accused me of being known to dabble in the funds” (publicly defamed & slandered me) They also accused me of having charged on the company credit card $700 in ink cartridges & having it delivered to my house after I was terminated.

When I couldn’t take it any more after being drug out of my house in handcuffs in front of neighbors on a Felony Criminal Scheme to Defraud Warrant & from the Detectives badgering & lying to me I offered to take a polygraph test in my interrogation so I could prove to them that I did not do any of the things I was being accused of. They got all excited & then 15 or so minutes later the 2 Detectives came back with the evidence they had with their heads hung low telling me & I quote, “We were handed the case & DIDN’T do our due diligence investigating the facts of the case & can admit when we have got it wrong" mind you this is on the interrogation VIDEO.!

They saw for themselves that the City LieD on the affidavit & could not prove anything more & I asked if I could go home. They said NO & I had to go through the entire strip search, mug shot, put in gen pop with real criminals etc. & had to post a $1k Bond to get out after not having food, water, or my medicine for 30 hours. So I was Falsely Arrested & Imprisoned too that I hope to sue for also. Another part to my story but I went to 9 court dates over this & the Judge herself said with the rest of the evidence that not only should I have NOT been arrested in the first place but the Detectives after admitting to & seeing that the City lied in the affidavit should have not sent me to be booked & jailed.

I read under the Civil Liability for False Arrest & Affidavits also the Law Faculty Articles & Essays Faculty Scholarship 2008 Bearing False Witness: Perjured Affidavits & the Fourth Amendment- Stephen W. Gard - Cleveland State University. Show that the City, the 2 people in the City that lied to the police & the Detectives can be sued because “235- they are not entitled to qualified immunity because the simple fact of the physical “invoice” evidence showing that the City clearly lied in the affidavit & so so much more. I admit the 3 police cars that served the warrant had probable cause because they only had the warrant to go on. But everyone else should be paying me for a multitude of reasons??

    Maybe.

But if you don't get yourself a lawyer you'll never see a nickel.

Just FYI, a wrongful termination does not mean you were fired for something you didn't do; it means you were fired for a reason prohibited by law.
