Prosecution in Federal Court for Shoplifting at the PX

What happens when someone goes to court for shoplifting at an aafes store!? It was under ten dollars, I know about the fine and base ban, but was wondering what to expect with a prior shoplifting offense from almost ten years ago and a domestic violence arrest from two years ago, do they just fine you!? Or give probation as well!? Ty

It's possible you could spend a year in jail (or have probation of that much) in addition to a $1000 fine.
