Is it Possible for a Sixteen Year Old to Get Emancipated
Kentucky- I'm 16 years old. I'll be 17 December 8, 2018.
I am graduated from high school. I live with my great aunt and uncle whom has full custody of me. And I am not allowed to get a job. I don't want to live here anymore because i am not allowed to do anything but sit on the couch but I'd rather live here then to be placed into another home. Is it possible for me to get emancipated? I just want to have a life.

Read this article. You cannot get emancipated merely because you want to move out. Your state allows for de facto emancipation with the consent of your parents but, given that a third party has legal custody of your, it does not appear that your parents have any legal right to custody or to emancipate you.
Sources suggest that your state permits judicial emancipation (which generally requires proof that you are living independently, support yourself, can manage your affairs, understand the consequences of emancipation, and that emancipation is in your best interest; although I have not found a case with your specific state's requirements) or based on lawful marriage.

If you have already graduated from high school, then what is the rationale they are giving for not permitting you to get a job?
