How Long Does it Take to Get a Child Support Decision
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Ohio

My ex filed for modification due to "loss of income". I objected, it went to the magistrate, he never showed up to court, and the magistrate ruled in my favor. He filed an objection to the magistrate's decision 10 weeks ago. My attorney filed a response because the ex was trying to submit evidence in his objection that was not allowed to be submitted after the fact. The court received the transcripts 7 weeks ago, but it's been silence since. We are generally in court a few times a year, mostly for contempt, and nothing has ever taken longer than 14 days. Is this a normal time frame for an objection?

Your attorney would likely be the best one to ask as s/he would know the climate of the particular court.
