But it’s not more helpful than hearing ; your situation will be based on Taiwanese law. If you depend on anything based on US it would be a waste for you and whomever tried to explain this based on any US law.

There's no probably about it - it WILL be based on Taiwanese law. The US has no jurisdiction here. There is no point in going into US law because US law is just as irrelevant as Russian law or Brazilian law or South African law. The only law that makes any never mind is Taiwanese law.
