Parent Charged With Kidnapping Children After Violating a CPS Order

She was legally evicted. She arrived home after work and the realtor and sheriff were in her apartment telling her she had to leave.

Also im sorry but my brain is scattered through this process... ive never felt so bad before.

I believe cps came and acted so fast because her child missed some school. That and the school conplained that since she didnt live in the area she had to transfer schools to where she was going to move.

I do believe the biggest issue is her daughter missing school and when cps got involved she had already been evicted and staying in a hotel outside the schools jurisdiction.

But i still dont feel after 6 days they should have been taken. The case worker would not accept letting her find a place
It was basically an ultimatum

Also... her ultimatum was her living in a rental, going to live with family, or take the kids. She got called into the cps office to give her plan. The cps worker that morning got the judge to sign the paperwork. When she showed up she was ready to tell cps she was going to live in a rental and was blindsided by being told that her children were being taken

We will get the kids back regardless. I just want to know how long she will have to be away from her kids

Her children not being in school appears to have nothing to do with her being evicted. You need to realize you do not know the complete story. And chances are you never will.

No one can tell you how long CPS will keep the children. That will depend on her Plan and how quickly she does all of the things the Plan requires her to do in order to get the children back

Oh no the children not being in school i felt has to do with the cps issue.

With all tgis what do you think they will do? Two cou nts of kidnapping her own children and its her forst offense.

I know i wont know everything and i need to wait till court but i feel like im dying knowing shes in there

No one can tell you what a Judge will or won't do.
