The offense yesterday is a felony with a possible jail time up to 10 years. What kind of time should I expect to be given in a caseckine this..

If you're looking at a ten year sentence, then it's reasonable to infer that you're charged with possession with intent to deliver or were caught in an actual sale. You need a lawyer.

Did you really expect anybody to be able to narrow it down any more than that given the info posted?

You need an attorney. If you are indigent, ask for a public defender. Waiting around for the indictment to be handed down is not a good idea, you can guarantee it will.

You've not given enough information to run the sentencing guidelines. Was the previous drug offense a felony? Any weopans? What did you get as a sentence for the first offense? How many counts? Do you have any juvie record. Was this selling or just simple possession. How old are you? Are you male? Do you have any other non-drug priors?

Assuming no other priors or aggrevating factors, you're probably still looking at probation.
