    Well, Bakersfield to Needles is 272 miles (a little over 4 hours). Further if she wants to go to where he might end up living in AZ.

    Add 30 minutes or an hour for the listed AZ locations.

    Ok, that is far enough that weekends are not really feasible unless dad drives to Bakersfield to see the children or unless mom meets half way. That might possibly make a judge decide that mom should have to meet dad half way so that the children see dad more often than just holidays and summer. I am not saying that its a slam dunk that mom will have to drive half way, just that its feasible that she could be ordered to do so.
