How to Speed Up the Process of Reunification After Your Children are Removed
My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: florida

On oct 2nd I came home after a night out with friends and went to sleep while sleeping my fiance(the mother) left to go to store for about 20 mins neighbors came by tried to wake me and i was unresponive.... Had overdosed. Oct 4th there was a shelter hearing where I was court ordered out of home and my daughter placed with mother and i went into detox. Oct 31st was the arraignment i plead consent was givin case plan... I have been sober and have completed everything that was in my power within first couple days like housing, income, and making appointments for services. But everything involving the places Lsf referred me to seem to be being dragged out like a month for an intake appointment to get RUA's. Two weeks for an appointment to set up an appointment for psycological assessment. The next court date is about two weeks away. It feels as tho im not getting anything done just a long waiting game. Are there any things that i could do to speed up the process of being with my family again? Or at least key things I should? I really dont wanna get lost in this mess they seem to have here.

The short answer is to make sure that you're 100% compliant with anything you are ordered to do in association with the plan for reunification, and the sooner the better.

The more detailed answer is something you should obtain after discussing the details of your case with your lawyer.
