What to Do if Your Roommate May Be Shoplifting
I have been living with someone for a short period of time. Recently there's been some high ticket robberies around town - mostly electronics. It's the season after all... But I've been noticing some items entering the apartment that match the descriptions of some of the stolen items. My roommate isn't really in a position to afford those things, unless they're getting money from a different source; however, it seems out of character for them and it's starting to get to be too much of a coincidence.

    How should I approach this??

Should I be careful if my accusation turns out to be false?

Could I get in trouble also if I don't report?

    Thank you, all.

Well, its always wise to be careful in case you are wrong, but yes you could get into a great deal of trouble if the police raid your home and find the stolen goods, and you were not the person who led them to suspect your roommate.

Go down to the nearest police station and talk to someone about what you suspect.
