What to Do if a Juvenile Court Won't Follow an Out-of-State Custody Order
My question involves juvenile law in the State of: What Can I Do If Both The Arizona Department Child Safety (DCS) Unit Supervisor & Social Worker Is Refusing To Follow Court Orders: 1)Rule 59 "Return The Child"; 2)Another ICPC CA DCFS; 3)Return The Child After Positive Home Results, After The Arizona Appeals Already Ruled California Has Jurisdiction Purstant To Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Enforcement Act (UCCJEA)?
Re: What to Do if a Juvenile Court Won't Follow an Out-of-State Custody Order
The UCCJEA allows for temporary emergency jurisdiction, so even if Arizona agrees that the case ultimately belongs in California it is possible for Arizona to retain jurisdiction until the exigency is resolved.
Beyond that, without any facts to work from, all we can really do is tell you to discuss the matter with your lawyer.
