Issue: Robbery/Burglary
So today at school my wallet was stolen when I left it on the table for a second to go look at something and when I got back I didn't check and see if it was there till after everyone got up to go to class. As soon as I knew I told the administration and they asked me questions and they looked at the tapes on the camera and they found out who did it and I know him but he took it from me then placed it in the bathroom where there are no cameras and someone else took it, no idea who. What can I do to try and either press charges if thats possible. (the wallets total value with the contents would be about 160 dollars) So anyone out there that could tell me what I should do since the school said they can't do anything but I need to get it back and also the school has video proof of him taking it that I could acquire. Any and all help is appreciated.

You said you need to get it back - but how can you do that if someone else took it? Even if you called the police and even if they charged the first person who took it, if he doesn't have it any more and there is no evidence of who subsequently took it then you for sure won't get it back.
