Caught With Marijuana in a Courthouse

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida. I was in the courthouse and a marijuana grinder was found in my purse which I did not know was there . This is my first criminal charge. What are the possible outcomes as I was not arrested and was given a criminal citation.

If you were given a citation, you were, for all intents and purposes, arrested. Paraphernalia possession is good for up to a year in jail (unlikely) or $1000 fine. You will end up with a life long criminal record. I would suggest you avail yourself of an attorney.
