Should a Criminal Court Record be Changed After a PC 1203.4 Petition is Granted
My question involves criminal records for the state of: California (Los Angeles County)

I have a 2003 misdemeanor conviction (Charge: VC 23153(B)) for which I applied for and was granted a 1203.4 petition in March of this year. However, when I look up my case on the court website (LA County) today, my recent 1203.4 motion shows an item on the case docket, but the case summary is still lists this charge as a plea of "Nolo Contendere" and a disposition of "Guilty/Convicted"

I understand that being granted a 1203.4 is not an expungement/sealing of this conviction, but shouldn't this plea have been "withdrawn" per the Penal Code and a plea of "not guilty" be in it's place on the public records for my case upon the court's granting of my petition?

    Thank you for your input.
