Removed from Sex Offender Registry in Kentucky and Want to Relocate
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Nevada
I th bought i had to register for life, but thankfully was released from the burden of registering in Kentucky. My significant other and I have been in talks about moving to Nevada. Should I relocate, am I placing myself in the crosshairs of having to reregister? Or am I cleared of this burden?

You would need to abide by the registration requirements in any state you move to. So if your crime would require lifetime registration in Nevada, you would be required to register there.

No way to know without the details of your conviction. Your release from the requirement to register in Kentucky only applies to Kentucky. If you go to some other state, that other state’s registration laws will apply to determine what you are required to do. It may well be that you would still have to register in Nevada. I suggest you contact an attorney in Nevada familiar with the sex offender registration laws of that state for advice.
