    Insurance Won't Pay a Claim for a Hit-and-Run Accident
My question involves an injury that occurred in the state of: CA

My new insurance company is investigating my hit and run accident since they state my policy is to new and there is no real way of proving the day of the accident took place. I provided them with all the information they requested and they still are not giving me a denial or approval and its been 1 month since the accident. What can i do?

They WILL complete a through investigation, but in the end, unless they have some proof you've filed a false claim, they have to pay out. They cannot just decide not to pay because they don't like that you got in an accident.
If I were you, I'd look up CA laws for timeframes for ins companies to respond to a claim in a timely fashion.
Legally (at least here in WA, they have a certain time period to respond to your claim, deny, approve or ask for more info.)
Be sure, if you haven't, to file a police report.
