What Happens if You Miss Your Court Date in an Eviction Case
My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Missouri. What do I do if I missed a court date for failing to vacate because I never received a summons to appear in court. I vacated the property and moved out of state six months before the court date. The other people living there remained in the home. So am I in trouble for missing a court date that I had no idea about?

What happened is the landlord got a writ of eviction against you (and the others) by default. The others were removed (or left on their own).
The only lasting effect of this on you is that you have an eviction on your history which may make getting subsequent rentals harder.

And the judgment could have included an award of money to the landlord.

I suggest you order a copy of the case file from the court so you can see what happened.
