Can Another Resident Keep Guns in the Home of a Felon

My question involves criminal law for the state of: LOUISIANA

Our son is due to be released soon and is coming back to live at home ... He was charged with a couple of felonies... Can we still have our firearms in the home, especially if they are locked up in a gun safe ?

If he ever has constructive access to the guns he will have committed another felony. That means the moment you leave the safe unlocked, he'd be in trouble.
It would be best if they were NOT in the house.

That's as far as the law on felon's possession are concerned. If he is on any form of probation or parole, they may have more restrictive rules.
