    Posession of Marijuana in Ohio
My boyfriend (21) and his best friend (20) were arrested today in OHio for posession of one ounce of marijuana, paraphanilia, and trafficking. They were coming from Michigan on there way home to Connecticut. This is both of their first criminal charges. Does anyone know what they can be facing in court tomorrow morning such as fines, jail time or anything? I'm trying to get an idea of what to expect. Thank you so much.

If they were just picked up, they are probably going to be arraigned tomorrow, or perhaps they simply have a bond hearing. They should consult a criminal defense lawyer before entering any pleas.

They should consult a criminal defense lawyer before entering any pleas. Their lawyer can advise them on a probable outcome and sentence based upon the charge.

Their lawyer can advise them as to the status of their case. I have no way of knowing what they have done, but from what you have said so far, no.
