Are Trespassing Laws Different for Teenagers
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Recently I got caught having sex in a parking lot. I was unaware that it was private property. The owner came out and took pictures of my license plate and said he would call the cops for trespassing. We didn't damage anything and the lot was completely empty and we thought it was abandon. Of course I'm super scared that the cops will come and arrest me but I was wondering how likely that would happen? I live in Indiana and I'm not sure what the laws are here but it I feel like most cops wouldn't waste their time on something like that. But I am still unsure. Also if I was to get arrested what would happen? Both of us are at the age of consent and this is the first time we've ever gotten in trouble. I'm not sure if that makes any difference but it would destroy our college ambitions if we had something like that on our record. What are your thoughts ?

Get a motel room next time.
If the property owner is angry enough and makes a complaint, yes you can be charged.
We can all sit around and speculate all day and that's pointless. No one knows what will happen nor can anyone make a good guess as to what will happen.
If you get charged get an attorney and don't talk to the police.

In all cases of criminal trespass in Indiana, you have to be on notice (posted property, asked to leave the property by police or owner, etc.) before you could be charged.

I wouldn't worry about it. But if charged, get a lawyer.
