    No.

It would take more than a "couple of months" before an emancipation petition would be heard, and you don't qualify anyway - in any state in the US.

(The subtle hint there is that you didn't tell us where you live - which US state?)

You don't meet the requirements to be emancipated. Just hang in there until December ... then you can walk away forever.

If my grandma wants me to move in with her as soon as possible what some things she could do to get me living there? Anything at all? I struggle with things and I'm not sure if I could make it until December.

Sure. She can convince your parents to allow it. If that doesn't work, just do as you are told and wait until you are 18.

Hon, if you're being abused you need to tell someone.

Emancipation is not and never was meant to be a means for children to escape parental tyranny; it is meant to provide minors who, through no fault of their own (parents died in a plane crash, for example) need the ability to sign a lease, get the power switched on in their name, that sort of thing. We rarely emancipate children due to abuse, but the first step would be confiding in a trusted adult or calling child protective services yourself.

Your grandma can't do anything really; she doesn't have standing to sue for custody and the only way she'd have a chance is by proving your parents are unfit. She will not be able to do that before your birthday.

If your parents say no, it means no. If you turn 18 in a couple months, and that's the age of majority in your state, then you are free to walk out the door on your 18th birthday and your parents cannot stop you.

You've already been told there's nothing you can do. Wait until you're 18.
