The whole thing sounds to me like a "tongue lashing" or a "scared straight chew out." If I think back to when I was 16, if I had been caught stealing, dad would have kicked my butt around the block, then my grandfather would have kicked it back in the other direction. I would have been more than happy to get "dressed down on the carpet." Don't sweat the small stuff. Wait on the criminal charges and the civil procedure, then flip your switch.

    All the best!

[ I agree (if story is correct) you were wronged the correct action was given you contact corporate office and file a complaint!
By all means put your name and your daughters name all over news (if they take story) Lets magnify your embarassment[/QUOTE]

Hey Don't jump on me. I was only giving her the path to take if she really wanted to do something about this. I would not do it unless my kid did not steal and they said she did. And I NEVER SAID TO REALLY CONTACT THE NEWS>. just to use it as a threat to get them to give her a quick response.

The police have called to say all charges have been dropped and that we should put in a complaint about this store. My daughter did NOT steal from this store and Yes she had stole from another store and she is grounded trust me and pocket money stopped.
