Do You Have to Let a Former Roommate Into the Apartment
My question involves personal property located in the State of: Florida
I moved into a house with a male and female last September the lease was in both their names not mine. They split up. Now almost two months later she is requesting to do a walk thru of the house for her stuff. He is up north in rehab. Do I have to let her walk thru the house I have packed everything she left behind that's not good enough for her. Again what rights if any does she have still being on the lease? A new one was drawn up without her on it but he never signed it.

If she's still on the lease, she has every legal right to be in the house if she was never formally evicted.

Florida has a law if you have not resided in a residence for 30 days or more you no longer have rights. Does that not apply

Can you provide a link to that law? One cannot comment based on someone's paraphrasing. The whole statute has to be reviewed.

I seriously doubt that there is any such law in Florida.

Where did you come up with it.
