Can You Be Charged With Battery if There are No Witnesses
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia

I'm looking for hopefully some insight on what we can expect.

My sister was at someone's house. A girl initiated an altercation with my sister. Girls father intervened "body slamming, ripped hair our, slammed head against hard-wood flood, and drug through house" is what my sisters says happened. My sister has black eyes, bald spot, and large bruising to forehead. She is filing charges this morning. The only people who witnessed were girl and her father and girl is already claiming that father never touched my sister.

Is there anyway that this grown man will not be held accountable for what he did to her? And what can/should we do?

The victim of a battery is a witness.

The alleged perpetrator of the battery is free to try to convince the police that the victim's injuries occurred elsewhere or at somebody else's hands, and see whether the police believe that claim.

She should go to the police and file a report. There is no way that what you posted that these injuries are self-inflicted injuries. So either the daughter or the farther committed the battery on her.

The police will sort it out.
