Is it legal or illegal for a person to carry a collapsible baton in Oregon?
There does not appear to be a law prohibiting the carrying of a (blunt) collapsable baton. There is a law against the concealed carrying of certain collapsable weapons, but it does not appear applicable to weapons that do not have a blade or point, ORS Sec. 166.240.
