What to Do if You Get a Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID)
A person in the U.S. on a tourist visa recieved a NOID regarding his change of status from B1/B2 to F1. What should he do? What are the chances that the change of status will be approved if he provides the evidence requested with the NOID?

It is possible to overcome a NOID, but whether or not that occurs will depend on the grounds of denial, the facts of the applicant's case, and the facts and evidence presented in the applicant's response to the NOID. If the applicant ignores the NOID, odds are a denial will follow.
