Petit Larceny In NY State
Hi:
I am currently on a charge in the upstate region of NY for Petty larceny in a supermarket. I just want to know what is the most likely course of action the Assistant District Attorney will take when I meet him on Thursday the 15th. I have no criminal history and have never been charged or arrested before. Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks

To find out what is likely to happen in a specific court, consult a local criminal defense lawyer to find out about local practices. First offense shoplifting almost always results in probation, but there may be options available which permit you to avoid having a criminal conviction on you record.
