Inheritance Rights When a Deceased Spouse Has Children from a Prior Marriage
In Utah, what is a widow legally entitled to receive if her husband has descendants from a prior marriage?

In terms of the husband's estate, with their being no will, the wife is entitled to an initial amount of money (presently @$83,000, and adjusted annually for inflation), and one half of the remainder of the estate. If there is a will, it is possible that the husband left his entire estate to his widow -- it would be necessary to review the will.
