    Misdemeanor Probation and Prop. 47
My question involves criminal law for the state of: California.
In 2012 i was arrested for possession of perscription pain killers. I was charged and convicted for violation of heath and safety code 11350. Unlawful possession of a controlled substance. At the time this was categorized as a felony. I did the time and became a convicted felon on felony probation. The only other thing on my record is a misdemeanor DUI from 2011.
In 2014 Prop. 47 was passed, reclassifying my drug charge as a misdemeanor. I petitioned the court and it was granted. So now all thats on my record isa misdemeanor from 2011 and a misdemeanor from 2012. I am no longer a convicted felon and havent been in trouble since march 2012.
Its now 2017 and Im still on felony probation and with all the restrictions/limitations as a convicted felon. How can this be legal?

Yeah, Prop 47 ... one of the worst damn things to happen to CA, and to drug treatment.

Check page 32 of this document: http://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/P...nformation.pdf

You can petition for re-sentencing. You might want to speak with an attorney to help you with that.
