Can You Be Charged With Vandalism for Urinating in Improper Places
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Missouri

Would urinating into a baby diaper changer in a bathroom be considered a crime? Would this be vandalism or something? Police was called when an employee walked in on the urine in the changer.

What is a "baby diaper changer"?

urinating in public is likely the most appropriate charge.

Depending on the facts it might also be consider lewd conduct, vandalism, or possibly disorderly conduct.

A baby diaper changer table, the white table in most public bathrooms. How could it be urinating in public? It was in a bathroom with no one in there.

If you were caught and charged, you know what you were charged so tell us what the charge was.

If you weren't caught and charged, just don't do it.

Urinating into a toilet or urinal is appropriate.

Urinating into a baby changer is not. Unless you are under the age of two and your mother is attempting to change your diaper.

Because you are "in public" when you are in a public property or a private property open to the public. The fact you are in a restroom doesn't change that if for no other reason than you are not utilizing the means in place to allow some modicum of privacy such as the visual barriers near urinals or used to create a private space when using the water closet.

Hopefully, the cops pay you a visit.

Grow up and use the restroom appropriately. Did you think your stunt was funny? Someone had to clean up after you.

Why would you pee on the changing table? Are you a baby? Do you wear diapers? Go use the damn toilet. Smh.
