What to Do if You're Afraid to Report Your Manager Because of Concern of Retaliation
If you work for a company and have a manager who has a history of making inappropriate comments to you, and you want the behavior to stop but are afraid that making a report will cause the manager or employer to retaliate against you, what should you do? How do you make a report and get the behavior to stop while protecting yourself, especially when the manager is likely to deny the allegations and call you a liar?

You should consult an employment lawyer about your situation, and get advice from your lawyer. An employment lawyer will be able to help you form a strategy to document issues at work, report the issues, file a complaint with the EEOC if necessary, and deal with any retaliation that may occur. The lawyer will also be positioned to litigate if, at the end of that process, your employer has not fulfilled its legal duties to address the problems or has retaliated against you for making a complaint.
