How to Find the Date When a Minor Became a U.S. Citizen
A woman is completing her N-400 application for naturalization, and it asks when her husband became a U.S. Citizen. He became a citizen when his mother naturalized, when he was a child. Is it okay to use the mother's date of naturalization as her husband's date, or should she investigate and find the exact date before she files?

It is important that she use the correct date, so she should have her husband file for a copy of his naturalization / citizenship document.
