What Happens With Probation After You Abscond
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Wisconsin. I am currently obscounding from probation. I was to be released from probation on DEC 12. 2016 and I have been absconding since sep 29 2016. What happens with with my probation at this point

If you ABSCONDED while you were still on probation, they can still pursue the violation even if your time would have expired if you had stayed. What could happen ranges from nothing to having your probation revoked and you going to jail. You probably want to talk to an attorney.

So, what other crime have you committed that caused you to abscond from your probation? Only a fool or a perpetrator of a crime would screw up his probation with 2 1/2 months remaining and you wouldn't consider yourself a fool now, would you?

Anyway, your probation has been stayed while you are on the lam. That means the clock stopped running while you are in violation of your probation. You still have that 2 1/2 months to serve but now you are at risk if the probation being revoked.
