16-year old emancipating info for Cali

im 16 years old and i dont live with either of my parents right now. i hardly seen my father and my mom is irresponcible i have practically raised myself and now i live with my cousin who is 22 years old. im happy here and im already graduated from high school and going to be going to a junior college this fall or next spring. my cousin supports me right now but im trying to get a job. can i still get emancipated if i dont have a job tho my cousin is supporting me? and i also dont know if my mother will agree with letting me so would i be able to do it without her approval? i need all the information i can get on emancipation!

You need to be self-supporting in order to emancipate.
