What is the Most Likely Punishment for a Drug Paraphernalia Charge
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ohio

I was pulled over for a broken turn signal that I didn't know about and had weed in the car. the cop charged me for just the bag. "drug paraphernalia: baggie containing marihuana" is on the ticket. I'm a first offender and i just payed my traffic ticket. What are the punishments I'm most likely to receive? how should i plead? and is there a way to have it eventually expunged from my record? I'm pretty much ignorant to things like this please help

For a first offense, the most likely outcome would be fines and probation. Talk to a lawyer about whether you might be able to avoid a conviction.

There's not even the possibility of jail for marijuana paraphernalia possession. It's only a minor misdemeanor. No jail (no matter how many priors) and $100 (plus costs) fine.
The onerous penalty however is that your driver's license will be suspended (though the judge can waive this).
