Missouri Child Support

Hi,

My kids live in Missouri and are now teenagers. My divorce decree doesn't specify a date when child support ceases. Should payment cease at Adulthood (18 in MO) or continue if the kids stay at home but go to college?

Also would I need to file with the Courts to advise them that I intend to cease payment of support when each of the kids reaches 18?

Sadly I don't have a good relationship with my ex, the child support I pay rarely gets spent on the kids and I find myself having to buy their clothes and shoes etc. I don't think this is something we can work out amicably together without legal intervention, so I want to make sure I know my facts when I speak to a lawyer.

Then open this:

Affidavit for Termination of Child Support



Only you can decide whether this is the right form to use.
