If you buy a used car from a dealership in Puerto Rico, and you find that it has a lot of mechanical problems, what are your rights?

Pursuant to Rule 26 of the Consumer Administration in Puerto Rico (DACO) a dealership that sells a used motor vehicle to a consumer must provide a warranty to the buyer. The warranty must cover both parts and labor, and must be transferable to a next purchaser. Coverage depends upon the mileage on the vehicle.
