If a minor is legally married, is the minor treated in all respects as an adult under Florida law? Can the minor sign a lease, or enroll in school?
All rights? No. Many age restrictions will still apply, such as prohibitions on underage drinking.
The marriage does result in legal emancipation under Florida law, such that the minor can enter into binding contracts -- but that does not mean that a landlord has to accept the minor as a tenant.
The marriage removes the minor from parental control and authority. The minor will be able to enroll in school, consistent with any applicable residency requirements for the school district.
